Wooden Cobra

A very fun gift my Mom gave me for Christmas, from Greece. Ok, so maybe it's not fun per se, but it is very cool.

One of my goals for photography this year is to take more closeup object pictures. Luckily this also means more indoor shots, which is fine by me this time of the year.

Not that I don't want to get out and do a photo day sometime as well of course. Winter wildlife and landscapes are nice!

I don't. I used to have a time share on a macro lens, which would have been nice for this shot, but it went cliff diving...

ah yes. now i remember!

i have a filter set that has 3 or 4 different magnifications if you ever want to borrow them. you'd probably have to use them with my 50mm.
especially fun when you play with making shapes out of bokkeh.
