i used to play chess nearly every day at lunch in grade 6 (well, every day we were allowed..)
always with my best friend, jeffrey. we got teased so bad for it. he always won.
except this one time.

the whole class surrounded us to watch.

mid afternoon snack, er, beer..

i ran into pete murphy today. we went to the al!bi for wednesday afternoon beers. i may or may not have been incredibly buzzed by the time we left.

pete is pretty awesome and incredibly talented. he's a film maker, and everything i've seen by him has been brilliant. he just released a movie, and is already working on the next one.
